Calcium is a very important part of the diet for lizards, tortoises and other animals. Sepia Crunch consists of fragments of cuttlefish cuttlebone and serves as a natural source of calcium and minerals. The calcium is present in its natural form as calcium carbonate.
The rough, hard shell helps land and aquatic tortoises to wear down their beaks evenly and keep them in shape. The material floats and can be placed on the water’s surface for marsh and aquatic tortoises.
The small pieces can be eaten whole or ground into a powder for feeding. The product is also suitable for reptiles, snails, insects, amphibians and pet birds.
