Krill are tiny, crab-like crustaceans from the world's oceans and serve as a natural food source for many marine creatures, including the fish in our aquaria. Our Gel-o-Juice Krill is rich in high quality proteins that are essential for animal growth. Krill is also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These fatty acids promote health, strengthen the immune system and improve the basic functions of your fish. The carotenoids naturally contained in Gel-o-Juice Krill, especially astaxanthin, enhance the colours of your fish. In addition, krill contains a wealth of antioxidants that protect your fish's cells from harmful free radicals. This supports the longevity and vitality of your aquarium inhabitants. Another essential component of our Gel-o-Juice Krill is the abundant fibre contained in the chitin shells of the crustaceans. Although these are indigestible, they stimulate the digestion of the fish as they create an optimal breeding ground for beneficial digestive bacteria. Fibre generally contributes to the prevention of obesity and digestive disorders and should therefore definitely be part of a balanced diet for aquarium inhabitants.
Easy dosing is possible thanks to the practical dosing cap. The food can be dripped directly into the tank or fed directly to sessile filter feeders or LPS corals using a pipette. The special formulation minimises water pollution and ensures that the food can be kept for 24 months without refrigeration. Gel-o-Juice Krill is equally suitable for feeding fish in marine and freshwater aquaria and is ideal for feeding LPS corals and a number of other lower animals. Gel-o-Juice Krill is available in three different sizes: 50 ml, 200 ml and 1,000 ml

Liquid straight feed for marine and freshwater aquaria
Feeding recommendation: 1 to 2 times a day, 5 - 10 drops for 5 - 10 fish. Depending on the stocking density and fish size. Always add Gel-o-Juice Krill to the aquarium at a point above the water surface where there is a strong current. Note: Shake well before feeding.
Tip: Switch off the flow pumps for a short time shortly after feeding to make it easier for filter feeders to feed.
